About the event

Dementia Support Australia, a nationwide dementia behaviour support program, invites you to a FREE LOCAL EVENT for family carers who are supporting a person living with dementia. In this informative and empowering session, you’ll gain practical information from dementia specialists on changes to mood and behaviour, understanding the diagnosis, caring for your wellbeing and the important resources available to you. You’ll have an opportunity to ask questions of our expert panel. Stay for light refreshments and talk with members of our team in a friendly and supportive environment.

Morning tea will be served at 9:30 AM, when registration opens, and a light lunch will be provided following the event.

If you are a health professional, including aged care, acute care, disability care or any other health service, we will be hosting Supporting Complex Dementia Workshops exclusively designed and tailored for health professionals. Please Click Here for more information or register.
